Long term fits

Category: general | Submitted: 2 June 2009 03:31PM | viewed 56471 times
Q Karen asks:

My dog is having fits where he just wanders and his back legs keep giving way. He has started drinking excessively. He is now 14 years old.

Q Our vet says: You should take your dog to your local vet. It sounds as if he is generally quite unwell. There are many diseases which could cause these signs but many of them are treatable and your dog could possibly continue to have a reasonable quality of life for a while longer if you take action now.
