Droncit products are available without veterinary prescription and can be used to treat dogs and cats for tapeworms. Tapeworms are small white worms which look like grains of rice and are often seen around the anal area of affected animals. If your pet has fleas or hunts for rodents then they may get tapeworms. Regular worming is advised and if your pet often hunts for mice, monthly worming will be necessary.
